Jenny, a siamang gibbon, clutched the side of her enclosure during the Primate Rescue Center's house last Saturday. Some 250 people turned out for the annual open house. The Primate Rescue Center sits on 30 acres in Jessamine County and includes a 100-fot long enclosure for 11 chimpanzees and 10 custom indoor/outdoor enclosures for the other primates.

Possible interstate corridors released

Six months after a public meeting was held at West Jessamine Middle School, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 7 has released the possible corridors for a connector between U.S. 27 and I-75.
